myGAVI Terms of Use
GAVI Alliance ("GAVI") operates a password-protected space called myGAVI which uses social media tools to allow GAVI stakeholders to access documents posted by the GAVI Secretariat; share documents; set-up online discussion groups; follow GAVI community members; pose real-time questions to GAVI; and customize information needs (collectively "myGAVI Services").
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use, as may be modified from time to time, govern your use of the myGAVI Services.
By registering your profile and setting up your own personal access password with myGAVI you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and represent and warrant that (a) the registration information you submit is correct and accurate; (b) you will maintain the accuracy of such information; and (c) your use of the myGAVI Services will comply with the Terms of Use and will not violate any applicable laws.
Password
When you sign up to become a Member, you will be asked to choose a password. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. You agree not to use the username, email address or password of another Member at any time or to disclose your password to any third party. You agree to notify GAVI if you suspect any unauthorized use of your password.
Privacy
You are solely responsible for the information, including any personal information, that you post on myGAVI and for any material or information that you transmit to other Members and for your interactions with other users. GAVI makes no commitment to protecting the privacy of myGAVI Members or of any information posted on myGAVI.
Use by Member
myGAVI is for personal use by Members and may not be used for any commercial purposes, without the prior written agreement of GAVI. You agree not to use myGAVI to post any vulgar, threatening, libellous, misleading or otherwise inappropriate material of any kind, as determined by GAVI in its sole discretion.
Termination of Membership
You may terminate your membership at any time, for any reason, with or without prior notice by clicking here (we will enter a url on the live document that will take the user to the Contact section which will indicate how Members can terminate their membership).
GAVI may terminate your membership at any time, for any or no reason, with or without prior notice or explanation and without liability. Furthermore, GAVI reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject, refuse to post or remove any posting (including, without limitation, private messages, emails and instant messages (collectively "messages") by you, or to deny, restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to all or any part of the myGAVI Services at any time, for any or no reason, with or without prior notice or explanation, and without liability.
Proprietary Rights in Content
myGAVI does not claim any ownership rights in the text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, musical works, works of authorship, applications, or any other materials (collectively "Content") that you transmit, submit, display or publish ("post") on, or in connection with the myGAVI Services. After posting any Content on myGAVI you continue to retain any such rights as you may have in your Content, subject to the limited license herein. By posting any Content on myGAVI, you hereby grant to GAVI a limited license to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly display, and distribute such Content solely in connection with GAVI's mission and activities. The license you grant to myGAVI is non-exclusive and royalty-free. Other than this limited license GAVI has no interest in the Content you post on myGAVI.
You represent and warrant that: (a) you own the Content posted by you on myGAVI and (b) the posting of your Content on myGAVI does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright or any other right of any person or entity. You are fully responsible for any royalties, fees and any other monies owed to any third party for the Content you post on myGAVI.
You may not use or replicate any GAVI logos, including myGAVI logo or the GAVI Partners' Forum logo without GAVI's prior written consent.
Disclaimer of Accuracy and Security
GAVI does not guarantee the accuracy of any information or Content available on the myGAVI site, nor that your interaction with the myGAVI site is secure or free from any computer problem, including without limitation, any computer virus that may be transferred via the internet. myGAVI is made available as a service to users and GAVI disclaims all implied warranties or guarantees in connection with your use of the myGAVI site.
